Opptunity

Private pilot for research labs and research groups to turn living knowledge into reviewed books with attributable contributions.

How the pilot works

  1. 01

    Request access

A PI or lab lead emails us to request a pilot for their group. We review and send single-use invitations.

  2. 02

    Invite your group

Invited members sign in, complete a short onboarding, and join your lab’s living books.

  3. 03

    Write and review together

Contributions are proposed, reviewed, and merged with a full revision history — every change is attributable.

Diagram of the pilot workflow: request access, invite your group, then write and review living books together.

Built for lab knowledge

Living books, not static files

Capture your group’s working knowledge as versioned books that evolve through reviewed contributions.

Attributable contributions

Authored sections, merged proposals, and reviews are tied to the person who made them — useful evidence for students and postdocs.

Structured review

Proposals carry context and pass through review before they are merged, so the record stays trustworthy.

Private by design

Opptunity is invitation-only during the pilot. There is no open public sign-up: access is granted to specific labs and research groups so your working knowledge stays within your group.

Book visibility is controlled by the people who own and edit them. You decide what is shared and with whom.
